28 Hearts No.01

Hey Friend! 

I can’t help it.  Hearts are one of my favorite motifs.  Each year I paint or create a heart a day for the entire month of February & I still don’t get tired of it. 

Things are a little different in my life this year, so I’m not committing to 28 days straight in a row & I don’t feel like limiting myself to paint so expect to see some collage, maybe some gelli printing, maybe some machine stitching…. Who knows? 

Heart No. 1 is a cyanotype collage!  You can see in the video that I’m using some little pliers to bore holes through the paper.  OH my poor hands!  I’ll still create 28 hearts, but who knows how long this will take me?   I hope you enjoy these little time-lapse videos & get inspired to create some hearts yourself!
